Joe has over 25 years’ experience as a town planner and has developed a reputation as the “troubleshooter” of difficult or troublesome planning applications that are yet to be determined or where processing has stalled.
Joe has previous experience within all levels of Government. As a consultant he has worked on hundreds of planning applications and appeals throughout the state.
Privately, Joe is an avid musician who enjoys family life with his 3 young daughters and also maintains on-going interests in his family’s farming enterprises.
Senior Town Planner
Ben is a qualified town planner and joined Altus Planning in November 2012. Ben has experience with preparing and managing subdivision applications, development applications, structure plans and scheme amendments, as well as undertaking development assessments. Ben has also previously provided expert planning evidence and representation services at the State Administrative Tribunal.
Ben is a keen sportsman in his spare time.
Josh joined Altus Planning in September 2015 as a qualified town planner after working in another planning consultancy for 18 months whilst completing his undergraduate degree. Whilst assisting with research and the preparation of Tribunal documents, Josh also has experience with preparing local development plans, development and subdivision applications.
In his spare time, Josh is a keen surfer.
Xiao-Ling joined Altus Planning in May 2017 on a part-time basis and recently completed her town planning degree at Curtin University. Xiao-Ling assists with various town planning related matters and may even answer the phone next time you call.
Simon Beal of Development Cartographics has been preparing all of Altus Planning’s plans since the commencement of the business. Simon has over 25 years’ experience in design and drafting with a speciality focus on subdivision applications.
